You drew and colored this marvelously, and I just love the atmosphere you've created here with the snowflakes, steam, foliage, and the construct in the background. Both characters are depicted very nicely here, and I like the way you portrayed a twirling motion with Margaret's dress. Their clothes turned out really nicely, as did their faces and hair. Great attention to detail. One of the very best North & South artworks I've seen on DA.

I finally got to see North and South and immediately had to come to deviant art to look for a picture.  I thought Thorin was the only character I like him as, boy was I wrong.  This picture is awesome.

Aahh I actually was looking for Downton Abbey fanart and stumbled across your wonderful page.  This is a gorgeous piece! North and South is a beautiful story and I love the whole sweepy feel of this.  (Also, Richard Armitage is very yum indeed.)

North and South made me happy in ways I haven't felt for ages, and I love your fan art of it. The way you drew the weather and environment is nice because the characters are too drawn to each other to notice their surroundings, and that makes it so much sweeter than if it were a pleasant sunny day.

I fell in love with the BBC-adaption and later read the book (I chose the book as a subject for an assignment I did this December), and I've been quite sad there isn't more fanart on DA, BUT THIS IS AMAZING! I love it

I haven't even read the book or seen the adaptation but I will fave this just because. It really makes me want to pick it up a lot.
