Stede's home was his most precious place, above everything else it was his favorite place to be almost all of the time. Stede was a homebody at heart, having never been much of a social butterfly he preferred evenings at home to doing anything else. He adored those quiet days in which he could work on a project, sipping a cup of warm tea in the comfort of his own living room.

Stede's home was a small house, practically a cottage, that sat at the edge of the woods in the suburbs of the city. It had two floors, and though small was the perfect size for a single cccat who didn't mind the lack of space. He had one bedroom upstairs, and the other rooms were filled with various items that reflected his various hobbies and interests. One room was devoted entirely to his job, and it was filled with everything that he could need to see with. Another was filled with different types of plants, as Stede fancied himself an amateur gardener, though he would never admit that there were plenty of plants that had died under his watch and now lived in the compost heap behind the shed. His living room was spacious and had plenty of room for guests, though often the only guests he entertained were his friend Fishbone and his various harem of boyfriends. His kitchen, though small, was outfitted in a retro theme and stuck to a pastel blue, brown and cream theme throughout. Outside was the garden, which surrounded the house with lush flower beds and neatly trimmed hedges. Stede had someone come once a week in order to maintain the illusion that he knew what he was doing when it came to landscaping, and he was extremely satisfied with the way his garden thrived under another's practiced hand.

Stede certainly preferred staying inside, when you had such a lovely house it was hard to leave even for just a few hours.
