Yes, our eyes only have the ability to see 3 colors (red blue and green) and then every other color we see happens via our eyes thinking "This has x red light and y green light and z blue light, therefore it must be pink". A great example is this: Say you recorded something e.g. a lemmon. It may look the same on the recording as it did in real life, but it actuall isn't. Computer pixels are red green and blue, so when the light reaches our eyes from the recording our eyes think "Hmm, we have x red and y green and z blue therefore it must be yellow" when actually, it isn't yellow light we see, we are seeing a mixture of red blue and green. Neat no?
