this was sort of an exercise in using reference. i decided to push towards a more realistic result by observing photos of sunsets, perspective from below (for the face), jellyfish, and hands. i think that i focused on this too much and the picture turned out too static, but it was good practice.

drawn in photoshop CS3 with an intuos3 tablet. textures from cgtextures.com , tips on how to use textures can be found here - [link] and for other tips check out my f.a.q - [link]

hey! i actually stopped selling mouse pads because i wasn't sure of the quality. I can offer this one as a mouse pad temporarily so you can purchase one though, that's no problem :) could you send a pic of your old one to loishh@gmail.com?

sorry forgot the link to get back to this pag took awhile ill upload a pic when i get home along side a ruler to show thickness as its hard to find manufacture that acutely still use this thickness.

I love that you draw people with dreadlocks. As a dreadie myself, it's pretty rare that I see them depicted in the artistic world.
