a drawing to celebrate reaching 20,000 likes on my facebook fan page! so exciting WOOHOO!

so this started out as a small doodle in my sketchbook, which i scanned into photoshop and then modified the lineart at high resolution to add more details. it was really cool to work on lineart this way, usually i paint over it at some point and it disappears!

drawn on moleskine paper with a mechanical pencil, scanned into photoshop cs5 and modified with a cintiq 24HD. total time spent - about 10 hrs. for more info on my artwork please visit [link]

Ung, that hair.... Wow. You capture motion so easily in your pieces, everything is fluid and natural. Absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for sharing!

Oh, I just noticed this recently but her posing seems reminiscent of a Mucha piece: [link] so elegant!

I come back to this image often to marvel at the hair! -- this is seriously one of the prettiest drawings I've ever seen! This girl's hair looks like it's almost weightless... I just love the movement and color scheme in this. ;V;
In fact, this girl's hair inspired me and I'm interested in creating a character with rather weightless hair like this girl's -- I hope you don't mind! I'll definitely credit you once I'm able to draw her (I'm still in the development process atm) and I can show you if you want!

Of course, congratulations on reaching 20,000+ likes!! (362k now, yay!!) <3333

Looks incredible, I really like the nose and the whole face/hair was made incredibly well, the hair is so lively.

I absolutely ADORE THIS PAINTING. Gorgeous. (I'm trying to teach myself digital painting, so I am beginning to practice a little. This picture was so incredible not to try. My own little version can be found at: kiki-firefaire.deviantart.com/… And I have linked you to the image, to show that it was your image I draw from. I hope this is okay?!? Thank you for being an incredible inspiration xoxo
