Character Redraw 36: Evie Davis

Psychotic Jojo's first victim: Evie Davis 🇭🇳🇺🇸

Evie Davis and Psychotic Jojo(Jessica Tôn) were the result of fake friends. Evie was the more well off child while Jessica was living with a single Vietnamese father who was recovering from a very risky surgery, and her mother wasn’t around. Evie’s mother had Evie become friends with Jessica to “diversify” her friend group. Evie would always make fun of Jessica for having a Vietnamese accent, and her mother would just brush it off as her "being a kid" this went all the way until 7th grade, Evie became the school bop(Which is a modern slang for thot/slut/whore) But still made fun of Jessica

There was a winter dance one school night in December, and Jessica had enough, she brought gloves and a pair of scissors. During the dance, Evie went to the bathroom, and Jessica followed, as soon as they were both in the bathroom, Jessica locked the door. Evie panicked and tried to escape, but was pinned against the wall by the neck by Jessica.

"This is the last face you'll ever see."

Jessica had said before stabbing Evie in the chest about 5 times, her screams and Jessica's laughter were overshadowed by the dance's music.

Soon Evie was dead, dropped to the floor, Jessica had placed the scissors in Evie's hands to make it look like she committed suicide, Jessica wore gloves as to not pass on fingerprints.

She went into the bathroom for a bit, did her business, took off her gloves and put them in her dress pocket, then came out. before intentionally slipping in blood, she gasped and screamed in fake terror, getting up and unlocking the bathroom, running outside and finding a teacher, acting all scared and horrified.

Not long after, an ambulance, the forensics team, and news crew arrived, along with Evie's mother, crying hysterically.

Evie's body was taken in an ambulance, while Jessica was questioned by police, still acting shaken, she lied and said she had gone to the bathroom and into the stall, where she "had a stomach ache" and didn't see Evie take her life from the gap under the stall door, then when she came out, she slipped in the blood, police took that statement and ruled it a suicide. Evie's mother however, was suspicious of Jessica after seeing Evie’s body being put in an ambulance and smiled, her mother yelled and pointed at Jessica, claiming she had murdered Evie, but with lack of evidence pointing towards murder, the police brushed it off. Evie’s mother stayed suspicious of Jessica.

In late April, Evie's mother's suspicions were confirmed after surveillance had revealed that not only Evie let out a blood curdling scream, indicating she was being murdered, but that the handle of the scissors in Jessica’s pocket was seen. If Evie had actually committed suicide, she wouldn't have made so much noise, and a couple of kids from the dance had witnessed the scissors in Jessica's pockets and had seen her with gloves on.

Police went to arrest Jessica but she ran away and ran all over the school, causing a lockdown. But she was eventually caught again and taken to a juvenile detention center. where she was then put in psych ward since she was 12 and couldn't be charged as an adult. She was so insane, they had to put her in a straight jacket and out in a padded room.

Months later, she manages to escape the psych ward after a careless guard had left her cell door open. Jessica got out of her straight jacket, ran out and broke into a clothing store, stealing a new outfit and shoes. But she was then kidnapped by a group of gangsters who wanted to rape her, but she managed to defend herself and kill them all.

She would then break into a hair salon and messily cut her hair into a side shave, then come out with a new name: Psychotic Jojo

Whew damn I went full on autistic on Psychotic Jojo and Evie lmao

I might write a book about them, not sure :)
