Commission of two Star Trek Online characters, Admiral Claude Hess (Human) and Commander Anthi Sh'Yzdev, his first officer (Andorian).

This picture has set new personal records for my drawing, longest time spent on it (easily over 25 hours, I am usually very quick at drawing), most detailed pic I've ever done, most amount of layers (I reached NINETY-NINE layers).

If you want to zoom into it a bit, all smooth and all, you can check it out in virtual tour form because the pic is actually 4200x3000px large but to add the DA watermark I had to size it down.

And hey look! A background! And a male! Two unusual things in my drawings.

Anyway, the commissioner is dead chuffed with the picture, and I am too, and he said I could post it here. :) I hope you'll like it too!

Mature content because: they have no clothes but no bits are showing, they're... cuddling.

That is such a beautiful picture. I personally like the details in the reflections and surfaces, and the lights's glow.
I would have liked some more glow from the window into the room, there is on the pillow and such, but even more would have made it stand out from the rest of the lights. I am not sure if it is what you were going for, but it is one of the changes I would personally have made.

Do mind, I am not nearly as good as you, and I do find your art very well crafted and beautiful.
A help is also more detailed shadings on the male's face, the eyes and such are a bit dull (A mistake I myself make ALL the time)

The small details in the wall and the light panels must have taken forever, and the painting in the painting, is awesome as well, you really understand how to fully fill out a "room" so to speak.
Do you hide hands because you get frustrated? If so, totally cool, if that is not the case (And the hand on his shoulder is really good) you could put his hand more visibly into her hair, to make it seem more like they are entwined, I dunno.
Beautiful picture!
And you really have worked on those layers! You can't even tell that they are there!
What do you think?

Actually I had more than that but that was the ref layers for the characters and descriptions and stuff (which brought it more to something like 110) but I didn't them count them in since they weren't drawing layers.

I'm glad you like it dear :) did you check out the zoomable version in the description?
