The caterpillar pokémon. As soon as it hatches, this insect-type pokémon will devour all vegetable life it can find, multiplying its weight several times in just a few days. The round marks on its head are used to scare predators, while the tongue-like structure on its mouth can emit a terrible stench if threatened.

I kind of wish you'd go back to the field notes format.  I know that's a HUGE amount of work for you to do, but that was so cool ^^

I'm not sure of what you mean by "field notes format" care to expand? I'm always looking to improve :3

*laughs nervously*  You're not the artist I was thinking of.  There was this other guy who was doing a similar project and made each image look like a researcher had written it in his field notebook, complete with coffee stains and anatomical sketches.  After a little searching I found it, the artist is called CasteelArt and here's a link to the gallery in question.  I hope it gives you some inspiration for a side project ^^

Haha, it's ok. I actually intended to do something like this, even considered trying to Kickstart a project. But alas, I don't have much money to invest and would probably take years to complete a generation of Pokemon like this (probably one a week at best). Thanks for commenting anyway! Hopefully I will improve someday :)

Glad! I hope I don't disappoint :P Frankly, I really liked how it turned out in 2012, so I'm having big hopes for this one
