Onua Nuva (AA: Spherus Magna) MOC

What a mess. From the day he burst forth from his canister on the island of Mata Nui to final moments of the Battle of Bara Magna, with the cosmically large and usurped body of Mata Nui itself crashing beheaded to the ground, Onua has seen things normal people wouldn't believe. The Toa of Earth knows that such memories can be let go, like raindrops down the side of a mountain. But -- as we know, even mere water can erode entire landscapes over time. Onua is secretly becoming more frayed at the edges, more prone to frustration.

His Adaptive Armor gives him the most efficient body he has had thus far, combining one of his intimately familiar claws with a Gravity Hammer most complementary to his strength. The strength provided by his Pakari Nuva, that is. Such a weapon has warning tape on the handle for a reason...

Anyway, this is more or less a sendup of an older MOC of mine that inspired me to do this entire set. With him using a bigger build, I was able to play with his proportions and color palette to a better extent, giving him the 80s style silver/black armor I love oh so muchh hhhhh (also Onua is simply my favorite Toa in general)

Sorry about the awkward gear on the backs of his thighs, Toa bunions aren't fun for them either.</sub>
