They'd always been a good listener. But since coming out, certain coworkers didnt involve them anymore. That’s why it was surprising when the front counter volunteer pulled out the thick file. Her grandson was involved with the wrong people and she worried he wouldn't last much longer. It was not really an issue the Police could help with. But listening didn't cost a whole lot. They'd been on the job long enough to know that. Still, they'd keep an eye out for this grandson in case he turned up.
