Spider email drawing offered as bill payment
I am sending you this drawing I did of a spider as payment, to help get you back on your feet.  I value the drawing to be worth more than the missing items, so I trust this settles the matter.

A Chronology of Pixar
A Chronology of Pixar
With the first trailers of their next upcoming movie, Up, having been released, it's time to look back at Pixar's 13 years in the feature film business. Much artwork has been inspired by Pixar's creations, so here are a selection of some of the best dedicated to each Pixar film, both from known and unknown artists.
Toy Story
Toy Story is well known as the first fully CGI-animated film to be created- and it was a good one, at that! Released in 1995, and directed by John Lasseter, Toy Story warmed the hearts of both adults and children, and is now considered an icon in the animation industry. Toy Story 2 followed in 1999, and with a Toy Story 3 scheduled for release in 2010, fans of the movies are sure not to be disappointed!

How to Avoid dArama
Believe it or not, I have no enemies on deviantART. None. I'm not saying everybody loves me, but I don't have any ongoing feuds, spammers, trolls, art thieves, or anything like that. I've been here for over four years, and these ten commandments are what keep me safely out of the flames.
------
I. If someone insults you, you don't have to retaliate.
So some anonymous bozo doesn't like you - so what? Learn to let it go. Hurling insults back only makes you look like a complete idiot.
Do you ever see this scenario? Troll insults Johnny, and Johnny argues with Troll, trying to prove Troll wrong and get him to apologize. Eventually they just end up flinging variations of "your mama" at each other.
It's fruitless, obviously, because trying to get a troll to be logical is like trying to empty a bucket with a soup strainer. So all that happens in the end is that the troll is still a troll, and you end up looking like just as big a jerk as he is.
Let insults slide off your back like wate

Epic Logo, Epic Challenge
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Ryan Ford, and I am the Creative Director here at deviantART. In my position, I manage a global team of extremely talented designers, and collectively we are responsible for designing most everything that represents deviantART in any way, shape, or form. This includes the site layout, deviantWEAR, and of course our brand.

Over the past few months, we've been working on a rebranding of deviantART, and you may have seen the fruits of our labor slowly taking shape throughout the site in a variety of forms. I'd like to take this opportunity to get you, the community, involved in the understanding of what

I haven't ever been a Beta Tester, simply because I prefer the little * next to my username, rather than the =. But it does actually look quite cool next to the double l of my user. That, and these new userpages are cool and distract me from revision.

Christmas was alright, as was New Year's, though the actual countdown to New Year's itself was pretty epic. None of us realised that it was almost midnight, and so we were all on Facebook laughing at stupid photos. Then someone switches the TV on and goes, 'eek, it's ten seconds to midnight!' Cue lots of panicked blustering and pouring of champagne. It was pretty funny.

2008 was an alright year. Good for travel, bad for schoolwork, but that's always the way. New Year Resolutions for 2009? Erm, get off teh internetz. And work. Which is clearly what I'm doing. Right now. Plus I've just realised that I'm actually applying to university this year. Yes yes, I'm late, but shush. The whole process just seems so exciting (though I do tend to get overexcited about little things, so that might explain it). I guess it's just the idea of living away from home for the first time, and the need for wherever it is I'm going to be perfect, which is an unhealthy way of looking at things, but ah well. I sort of know what I'm doing in my gap year, but where exactly I'm travelling to is still a bit uncertain, aside from going to America with PhoenixSparrow. My heart was set on going to Nepal for two weeks, but it's so expensive for the length of time that I'm wondering whether it's worth just going somewhere a bit closer to home to volunteer. Ideas, anyone?

Eugh, got exams to cram for now. And a driving test at the end of January. Wahey! Oh, and by the way, this is awesome- www.starterupsteve.com/swf/str…
