Inktober: Buttercup by LizDoodlez Inktober: Buttercup by LizDoodlez
While I was sick I started playing my unfinished nuzlocke run. Buttercup is my starter. She's half Lucario so she has a pretty unique fighting style for her species.

Before I write anything I'd like to comment that this is very well drawn. This character looks to be original. Most parts of the character as well are done very well such as the hand(one of the most difficult to draw for the human body)and the character is nearly proportional--that said lets move on to the errors in this piece. One thing that may draw concern is the face which doesn't contain as much detail compared to the rest of the body. I'd also like to say that the legs are stiff and there are no signs of folds and bents in the clothing that are obvious making it plain(although if you are going for a simplistic style a fold or two is OK). One thing that'll defiantly improve the whole drawing is if you focused on making your inking better. The bandages around the arm and stomach make it look rushed. I recommend a brush pen if you are using a regular pen to get thicker lines to get a cleaner drawing although its not necessary. You might also want to practice shading. All in all this is very good sketch/drawing but it would greatly improve if you: practice inking and shading more. -excuse my writing/grammar errors-
