The Rest of the Knox Family

Description

Since I gave Knox a redesign, most of her relations got redone as well.

Lachlan Knox: The head of his criminal gang, Lachlan originally arrived to London from Glasgow, Scotland and started up his criminal career with a small smuggling gang that grew over time. With the growth of his gang came other opportunities to expand on other criminal actions. He's very ruthless, as evidence by how he took revenge on the mice that were responsible for his first wife's death, and runs a very tight shift with his crew. He's made sure this operations expanded to be huge influences in other gangs around Mousedom. Despite his ruthlessness, he adores his kids and is very much a romantic.

Nelly nee Evans: Lachlan's first wife and mother to Calum, Fraser, Finlay, and Gwendolen. She was born and raised in the East End before marrying Lachlan. She was quite happy with how well hers and her family's life had been going on until one day members of a rival gang broke in, attempting to use her and her children to shut down Lachlan. While she managed to get her children to escape, Nelly herself got brutally injured and left to be found dead by her husband.

Calum: The eldest of all the Knox children (including step-children), Calum has a lot of self-confidence and borderline egotistical. He's quite vain, being the usual one out of his siblings to help target and rob places with young heiresses or easily charmed female servants. Due to his status as the eldest though and having to grow up in the Eat End, he's very ruthless.
Fraser: More of the brains between his bio-siblings, Fraser makes sure to at least attempt to dress fine enough and look over plans for the gang. He's a bit more at odds with Calum and Finlay but it's mostly because of behavior and appearance sake.
Finlay: The last of Nelly's sons, Finlay is more than happy to follow someone than to actually having a lead role. More often than not he tries to keep the peace between his siblings and try to keep any arguments down to a minimum.

Grella Wright nee Smith: The marriage between Grella and Lachlan was more of convenience and security than anything on Grella's part. With her previous marriage having been thrown to the side as a mild affair after her first husband's dead, she was in need to have some security for her and her two children that were now seen as bastards. Her decision in this plus the change of their situation put quite some strain on her relationship with her son James, and the circumstances that had left Lachlan widowed the first time made it difficult for her to really have any non-strained relations with her new step-children. She was determined to at least make sure all of them were prepared for society's expectations of them until she fell ill and died due to consumption.

James Wright: The younger of Grella's children, his relationship with most of his step-family is strained at best. He was overall disgusted by how he was seen as just a bastard child between his mother and biological father, and even more disgusted by the type of criminal his mother later married. It's costed him quite a lot in his relationship between his older sister as well. He holds himself to be more proper and higher in society than he actually is and is outright cowardly when in the face of trouble.

Bertha Plumbell: Older than James, Bertha was more concern with adapting to a new social life when her mother and Lachlan married as well as helping caring for a ton of new step-siblings. She's quick to read a situation and recognize others and ways to deal with them. While she doesn't want to do much with the smuggling business, instead preferring to help run the Rat Trap with her husband Lucian as the bar tender, James's actions have caused her to be ready to defend the rest of the family.

Madeline Whitetail nee Whiskers: A marriage that was half out of romantic feelings and half out of security, Madeline was patient in settling into the role of mother for her new step-children as her own two sons were prepared for the kind of life the family had. Having been a former thief herself, she sought to give her own influence to the family business and its working.

John Whitetail-Knox: John is aware that he's best for strength and makes no secret of it. His thick fur has made it useful for colder weather, letting him keep watch longer for others when out and about in the fall and winter. He's highly protective of his family members, especially his younger brother Gregory.

Gregory Whitetail-Knox: The youngest out of all the Knox siblings, Gregory has much of a similar job that Calum takes and finds it easy to charm others and be diplomatic for the family's business. He's retained a very boyish look about him and finds it useful for deceiving others about his connections.
