Lachlan Knox, for all the ruthlessness and no-nonsense many in the criminal underworld would mostly know him for, had always been a family man. With three boys and a new daughter from his marriage with Nelly, a growing success in his own smuggling ring, and at that moment looking at a good, decent life, Lachlan couldn't imagine himself any happier than he was in those years.
