Personality: Monkeytail's always been a rather chilled and relaxed tom. He had his own love of puns and doing sneaky things to laugh at to himself. Might have been great for a tropical kitty, not so much for being a dad and a mentor.

History: 
Born in Splashclan, Monkeytail raised his son Palmfoot mostly on his own, which might not have been the best idea. He let Palm get away with a ton of stuff, even worse when he was an apprentice under him. Around that time, he also had a fling with a Rainclan she-cat named Parrotsong, resulting in Chipmunkstar. 

When Palmfoot went out on his own, Monkeytail thought it wasn't that bad of an idea. He never did leave the clan territories when he was younger, what would he find outside? ... also he was absolutely pissing himself with fear of where his son was and wanting to at least repair any part of their relationship that he didn't fully understand why it had fell apart.
