OC Profile Pearl Lupine

Ah, the lady detective... Old art had her being the only child of a rival jewel company to the Riverfields. That certainly is still in play, but the Lupines themselves went through... several changes.

Design Changes: 
- Ditched the red color scheme for her clothing and changed it to orange. This was for two reasons. One, I already had a red-eyed albino dressed in red with Sebastian Ratigan. Two, orange clothing during the Victorian era was expensive. And Pearl was meant to come from a really rich family. So what better way to solve problem one and show Pearl's upbringing than to dress her in orange? It certainly helps to have her in the exact color opposite of the Riverfield's heir Alexander AND Jim Ratigan, both of who are dressed in blues. 
- Her ears have moved to the side of her head and are rounder. She now has a hint of a dormouse with those features, which gives a sort of softer, friendly appeal. Something that gets contrasted with-
- Her cheeks are turned upward to give her a slight edge. Pearl is a character of conundrums. I'll get into this when I get into character changes, but Pearl is sort of unsettling to both foes and allies. She seems friendly most of the time, but there's also always a hint of the possibility that she could turn on you. 
- Just her entire outfit. 

Character changes:
- While Pearl is still the scheming mouse she is, it's now less for personal gain and more sort of trying to go on her own path. She has in-depth knowledge about crime due to her parents and let's just say neither Jean nor Elizabeth Lupine has such knowledge out of study. 
- Very french. Both her parents moved to England from Paris when she was just a baby. 
- Her already very grey morals get more into as while she has turned away from the life her parents might have tried to prepare her for, and even taking on a career to negate the influence their harm has done to people, she's still willing to not turn her parents in and not outright stop them. Instead, she opts for the more subtle approach of somehow keeping others away. 
- I actually debated on if her only child status would change before deciding to keep it. However, I did decide to go more into it and how that affected her character. Pearl, in her attempts to make sure for some of her parents' past actions, keeping her small family safe, and taking on a career that really is already dangerous when you look at what her specialty is, is pretty lonely and, more often than not, trying to keep others safe and being suspicious of many around her has only been feeding that loneliness. 

Overall, Pearl is still the confident, playful, and scheming mouse, but the deeper look and expansion of her character certainly brings up both more possibilities of stories and traits that fit her and her motivations. And as for how interactions between her and Basil could go, especially if he tried to dig deeper into her family... well...
