"And what did we learn from this?"

"That overworking while still sick will bite me back in the ass?" Warblerpaw huffed with an ear barely flickering towards Foxholly's voice.

"I was going to say, 'Everyone has limits,' but I suppose that'll have to do for now," the tortoiseshell responded with a light chuckle under her breath. She got up and nudged her son's forehead briefly. "Rest up, alright?" she said before leaving the apprentice den.

Warblerpaw gave a groan, burying his head into his fixed nest. He might have gotten carried away with trying to improve. No, he definitely did get carried away. But it was sort of worth it. Almost. He gave a cough as he tried to get himself to sleep, thinking of what else he could improve. Maybe he could try and get stronger? Or stand against someone else better? Maybe he could try to race one of his siblings or one of the warriors to try and improve speed? He could certainly try and get better at stealth, given his bright fur against the snow. He smiled to himself a bit, determined to become one of the best warriors in the clans. Heck, maybe the best! Well, maybe that'd be too much. And certainly wouldn't try to do what he'd been trying this whole moon, not again. He'd certainly need to pace himself. Maybe he could talk to Salmonpool about that?

He gave another hard cough, followed by a groan. Sleep, he certainly needed sleep. There was still a shortage going on and all paws were needed, aside from the kits.
... Maybe he could offer some advice of doing this training stuff to the others when they became apprentices in the following moons. It'd certainly be useful to help everyone else build up on their skills at least.

Warblerpaw's immunity raised
