why people have gotten Griffith from Berserk wrong
Here's some food for your anime thought; everybody seems to have gotten Griffith wrong. I've been seeing videos on youtube with titles like 'Griffith did nothing wrong' and 'The misunderstood actions of Griffith' - and while I agree with them it's very probably for a different set of reasons. From the series to the movies; (it might be because of the magnetism he's designed to exude as a character) I've paid close attention to him and his part in the story- and I've got some thoughts and feelings that I need to express before they don't mean anything anymore.
I believe Griffith is a complex, mixed up character, who starts off a good, just, noble man with a pure heart. (There's a reason Casca and Princess Charlotte, even after what he does to them, still continue to love this man- because they know and trust him for who Griffith is at heart; a good man.)
