I've been working on her for a while now; probably a couple of months. I'm quite happy with her, at least at the moment.
I've always loved the old fairy tale of the ice queen, who pieced the heart of a young boy named Kai with a shard of ice, and then steals him away to her ice castle. Kai's best friend Gerda loves him so much that she treks across many dangers by herself to find him and melt the ice in his heart.
I don't really think the ice queen is all that bad, though. But then again, I'm just biased
I accidentally started this piece way too small, but I thought I'd just roll with it and see how it turned out. Not too shabby, I don't think.
Oh yeah, and for extra fun, if you identified the flowers in her hand as a bunch of Glory of the Snow flowers, you win!
