Half driders are a semi common race in Jeslore. They are naturally built for stealth, assassination and mobility by retaining all the natural abilities spiders have (poison, webspinning, wall clinging, camouflage, silent movement, and more) and using them to their fullest. They are even immune to paralysis, as they use muscles like humans for movement but also have an auxiliary hydraulic system like real spiders, allowing them to keep moving even if their muscles have shut down. Some like Nightshade even have the ability to turn fully invisible. In addition to being built for speed and stealth, for a common race the half driders even have a respectable armor rating with chitin that can easily deflect piercing and slashing type damage. Their biggest weakness is their carnivorous diet which can lead to them becoming aggressive if they get hungry.
