Crack in the Wall
I hear voices. Laughter echoes through the spaces in-between the walls. I inch my way over to where the dining room has its walls. I was over near the library, so this takes a while. I have a big house; I believe it was once a palace of some sort. I never paid attention to who belonged here, so long as they didn't disturb my home, the walls.
I reach the dining room, and no one is there anymore. I give a small sigh to myself. I always miss everything, just by a moment. I only to hear the laughter slipping further away down the hallways and out the door. I hide myself usually, but I've been alone for so long. I
would have been half a year.
and instead, it's just one more reason to cry.
I had so many hopes for this summer.
I had so many things i wanted to do.
I had so many dreams i wanted to be sharing.
