At Thanksgiving, while making Lefsa, our traditional flat bread dinner, we got a little carried away with the flower. Anyways, while everyone was busy, I grabbed my camera and started snapping off shots. To which, this is one of several I'll post. I told my sister to look over that I had something for her, to which she looked over and before her reaction could set, I snapped the picture. I did edit this photo by making it black and white, then simply going back and added the color back into her eyes.
I'm confused.. Lefse or flat bread?
one more thing tho..... dinner? forgive me for being stupid, but.. do you eat lefse for dinner?
well, as far as I know the family calls it Lefse, and we usually make a few other things as well, and every great once and a while to get away from the normal boring traditional stuff, we go back to the food my great grandmother used to make, and it, along with the other tasty things, make up a tasty meal that involves the whole family in the making. We make the flat bread from scratch, boil potatoes and fish, and then of course family members make deserts, and that pretty much becomes the meal. Again, my family calls it Lefse. You are from Norway though, so if what I'm describing isn't Lefse, or lefse means something completely different, then please correct me. Regardless of what it is call, it is super-tasty.
oooh...sugar & butter would be so tasty. I think next time I'll try that! mmm...we usually put potatoes on it, and then fish, and mash it all together, and then add plenty of butter and pepper. Sounds probably gross to some, but wow...the taste is yummy. The flatbread makes the whole dish.
