I was attracted by the strange shape of this church, and didn't realized the sky was so beautiful.

Would you have used the same angle ?

There is something appropriately middle-age religious about the church silouhette, the savior figure, and the carnival skyline all in the same picture. Somewhere Chaucer is smiling :-)

The sky makes a nice mellow background for this compisition, but it's not "outstanding" enough to detract from the very interesting skyline. I like the angle you used, but I'd be interested to see this with the top 1/4 cropped off. I think the skyline is the best part of this image, and focusing in on it would improve the effect.

My $0.02 :D
