Running Out of Time by littledubbs Running Out of Time by littledubbs
I took this picture quite a while ago along with several others to get one suitable for a project of his. Though I didn't use this one, I really like how this turned out. There used to be a messy floor in this picture, but I cleaned it out with the Gimp. Just like in a lot of my other pictures, I experimented with the border. This clock is one that my grandfather owned that came into my family's posession after his death. It is actually a punch clock, and you can see a card in it as well as the lever to stamp it.

Everyone's life will, at some point, come to an end; the clock is ticking away. Before each person's life comes to an end, they need to come to Christ.

Ecclesiastes 12
1Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come and the years draw near when you will say, "I have no delight in them"; 2before the sun and the light, the moon and the stars are darkened, and clouds return after the rain; 3in the day that the watchmen of the house tremble, and mighty men stoop, the grinding ones stand idle because they are few, and those who look through windows grow dim; 4and the doors on the street are shut as the sound of the grinding mill is low, and one will arise at the sound of the bird, and all the daughters of song will sing softly.

I agree, this is a beautiful shot. I also like the concept behind it :)

Thanks! Unfortunately, I came up with the concept after the shot...

This is a great shot. I am particuarly fond of the fact that the clock looks almost two-dimensional because merely the front is illuminated. I also like the perspective, and the clock itself is fascinating. Kudos.
