I've been rather neglectful of this wonderful place to post art!  I've been working hard on improving my painting skills, as well as selling some of my stuff. I have been a dolphin trainer (and now a stingray trainer!) for two years and have had a lot of opportunities to closely study my favorite subjects! :) Anyways, please enjoy my new shtuff.

I want to thank everyone for commenting on my work! I really really appreciate it.  I have been super busy, so I am really sorry that I haven't been able to respond individually to your comments.  Needless to say, all of you guys are encouraging (and all of you are amazing artists yourselves) and your feedback means a lot!!!!! So I'm a marine mammal intern at an undisclosed facility (hey! I wouldn't want anyone comin' after me, haha).   It is so amazing, I can't believe how much I've learned...and the animals are amazing.  Every day that passes (even the days when I make stupid, embarrassing mistakes) makes me more positive that I want to be

New photos!

I got my whale watching photos back.  In two 36 exp rolls I have about eight whale watches on them (each trip was around five hours long).  Out here in New England I usually go out of Rye, NH to Jeffrey's Ledge.  Fin and minke whales are the most common whales I've seen out there...I've rarely seen a humpback, although they are supposedly pretty common out there. I see a TON of humpback whales in Stellwagon Bay when I take whale-watching trips out of Cape Ann or Boston, MA. Fin and minke whales are hard to photograph because they are so fast and tend to shy away from boats and take longer dives (around 6 to 10 minutes). Cetaceans I've seen
