After Spitfire had moved on (due to age and other responsibilities), Rainbow Dash naturally took over the Wonderbolts due to sheer talent and love of the job.
Much to Rainbow's surprise, a newly arrived recruit has just broken Dashie's old Academy records. And of course, as Rainbow gets to the end of the line...
NOTE: A LOT of people noticed a special cameo by one of my favorite 'background' ponies in this drawing. Can you guess who it is? ^^

there is another version of grown scootaloo & captain Rainbow out there (of course) but there is 1 in particular i try to find, with the captain Rainbow dash, being clearly older, gray in her mane & wrinkles under her eyes
it was made before the library got blown up by Tirek, but after twilight became a alicorn, as the artist has done the other mane 6 members & cmc as well
the artist made a short comic & bio pages for all grown characters
and i have trouble finding this artist

Lionel23, I like how you drew everything, especially Rainbow Dash. But, being in AF JROTC, I can tell you that the uniform, (although improved from what the show did) is wrong. Assuming that by the looks of it, it is class A, the Tie would have to be inside. Not only that but females were Tie tabs.

I don't want to make you feel like an idiot but that's not Octavia. Octavia is dark grey that pony that looks like Octavia is like a palish dark blue

You are misunderstanding this. Scootaloo can fly, they just said she is disabled. This means she can't fly right now even though most others her age can.
what episode was that?
Rainbow Dash rose a brow at the results 'She beat even my times, not bad, kid, not bad at all.' thought the polychromatic pegasus. Scootaloo puffed out her chest, grinning proudly, knowing she had done her mentor proud, even if the Captain didn't show it, considering that they had grown close over the years, she had become an expert in reading Rainbow's body language...
So, Scoot's cutie mark is a speedy wheel? Dash should nickname her Hotwheels.
