Lobo: King of the Currumpaw by LionBolt369 Lobo: King of the Currumpaw by LionBolt369
Lobo is a true story of a real wolf and his battle against the changing world during the late 1800s. If you have never heard of the story of Lobo you should look it up, it's very touching. But not the Disney version. They messed the whole story up! >8[
But here Lobo is with his beloved mate Blanca. The Currumpaw is somewhere in New Mexico. The true story was written by Ernest Thompson Seton, in Wild Animals I Have known in 1898. Seton also plays a main role in the story.
But I loved this story because it somehow shows that animals aren't just mindless beasts. Especially wolves. It is like many stories like Hachiko and other amazing animal tales. Check it out, you won't be sorry. =)

I learned about this story on Drunk History. It made my eyes misty, even when told by a drunk person. The story of Lobo and Blanca is literally one of the most touching, tragic love stories in the whole animal kingdom. Like, all of the animals have stories, and they are touching, tragic, dramatic, comedic, emotional, very human stories. This is why I roll my eyes when people complain about fictional animals being "too human," because they have thoughts and emotions.

I admire the way Seton cast himself as the villain in the story, it really shows a lot.

Yeah, who knows what would become of the wolves if it weren't for Seton? Lobo's and Blanca's death saved thousands.
