The Tarot is the original playing cards. Travelers would make games from these fate cards, branching out eventually into the 52 deck packs we know today. You might recognise the Minor Arcana as the four suits, or the Fool, now known as the Joker. What I like to remember is that while our world has had our deck evolve in to this format, the world of Albion has taken a  different turn, such as with the ‘Fortune’s Tower’ ( sets of seven cards, ranging from 1-7, with 4 Hero Cards).
