As the title suggests, this news article's goal is to spread the dA love into everyone's heart! You will find here a little bit of everything, from awesome interviews with talented artists, art features, group promotion to random deviants' features. I hope you will find this informative and entertaining!

Interviewed artist: Mavros-Thanatos :iconmavros-thanatos:

:bulletyellow: Tell us what defines you as a person.

Art defines me as a person, It's my only currency in this world.

:bulletyellow: How did you find out about deviantART and why did you join the community?

Someone posted some artwork on a forum with a link that took me here. I joined because I wanted an audience.

:bulletyellow: When and how did you discover your passion for art?

According to my parents, I've been drawing since I was 2, so I guess it's always been there.

:bulletyellow: What inspires you the most and when do you think your creativity is at its maximum?

I'm inspired by music, movies, games and other art. I'm my most creative when I'm alone.

:bulletyellow: What do you think you'd be doing if you hadn't chosen this path?

Possibly a practical trade like electrician (still considering it as a backup).

:bulletyellow: What do you think it's your most meaningful deviation and what makes it special? Does it have a story behind it?

Perpetuality3. I had just discovered Francis Bacon and his art though lacking draftsmanship had an emotion to it that I interpreted as frustration which I was feeling alot of (and still do). It so captured the feeling that I wanted to do something similar. I really regret selling this piece.

:bulletyellow: Do you have any insecurities regarding your art?

Yes, that it's not as polished as I'd like it to be. I tend to get bored with a piece and want to move onto another.

:bulletyellow: Did art ever helped you to deal with your life problems?

Absolutely! It's one of the only reasons I do it. All the traditional art I post here isn't anything I got payed for. I draw this for myself.

:bulletyellow: What is the one thing you always wanted to do but never got a chance to?

I can't really think of anything. I don't have that much ambition that way, I don't like travel, or thrill seeking so I honestly don't know. I'm a pretty boring guy.

:bulletyellow: A few words for our fellow artists?

I don't know... I can't think of anything.

snowglobe songIt grew in lightless dissonance. The perfect balance of warmth and wetness which would deform any suckling and birth putrescence. Here, in the dank depths of hope deferred, it grew.
They formed it with their broken voices and it strained to hear every lost syllable. Between the fragmented sounds, a constant; a muffled whisper of a melody. It sank as though it were made to exist beneath those muddy refrains.
Little mocking bird, born without a song of its own. It stapled grounding reasons to each feather and chirped a scratched-out song to dandelions in the place of clouds. Rough notes swept across the seeds. A coarse melody was reborn in those colorless tufts, which suffocated every living thing on the small bird's horizon. The sullen snowglobe burned brightly as creatures tried to breathe under the ungodly weight of a once insignificant song.

BalanceShe balanced on the top step, looking down. Below her were her classmates, dancing and talking enjoying themselves at the party.
But she was up here by herself.
And she was fine with that.
There was this idea at school that everyone must go to parties, before going back to their dorm rooms and studying the rest of the night in order to make the best grades. They also had to look nice of course, beautiful bleached blondes and dark brunettes mixing with flaming shades of red.
But she hated all of that. There was no reason to be so devoted to the idea of perfection. Besides, perfection could take different forms.
Like letting go of the bannister and falling off the edge, in search of nirvana.

in innocence insisting.

twisting blissfully
amidst the river's drifting,
you will not relent
the memory of fitting.
