As the title suggests, this news article’s goal is to spread the dA love into everyone’s heart! You will find here a little bit of everything, from awesome interviews with talented artists, art features, group promotion to random deviants' features. I hope you will find this informative and entertaining!

Interviewed artist: Madspeitersen :iconmadspeitersen:

:bulletyellow: Tell us what defines you as a person.

I think that my friends describe me as charismatic, funny and somewhat awkward. I see myself as being very creative. One of my main goals in life is to create things, it's definitely something that drives me. I love action and reactions.

:bulletyellow: How did you find out about deviantART and why did you join the community?

At the time I didn't have a website. And wanted somewhere to put my new stuff. I had seen links to deviantART from time to time but didn't pay attention until I needed a place online myself. It only took me a couple of weeks before I was totally hooked on DA. I think it serves a great place for many aspiring and professional artists.

:bulletyellow: When and how did you discover your passion for art?

I can remember that I was one of the kids back in early prime school that was drawing a lot. We drew these massive battle scenes in the lunch breaks and told stories during. What we did was tape together all these A4 papers and creating what was called "a kilometer drawing". These would turn into massive battle scenes with forest, space themes and great cities. That's one of my very first memories creating art. And it has stuck with me.

:bulletyellow: What inspires you the most and when do you think your creativity is at its maximum?

I try to stay tuned with what is happening online, following trends on the internet. Exploring new styles that are being developed and so on. Actually one of my foremost inspirations as an artist is good old fashioned novels and books. Here you can find everything from science, history, fantasy the occult and so on. It's brilliant and a never ending source of inspiration. If you are interested I can recommend the books from Wilbur Smith, these are massive historical epic stories. And is bound to sparkle some inspiration in everyone ;)
Whenever I paint or draw, I set the mood to the music. Epic soundtracks from movies is just fantastic to listen to while working. Its full of emotion, life and energy.

:bulletyellow: What do you think you'd be doing if you hadn't chosen this path?

When I was younger I was dreaming a lot about working on a massive cruise ship. Sailing the seven seas with the wind in my hair. I'm not even kidding :) I thought it was a romantic idea, full of freedom and bound for great adventures.

:bulletyellow: What do you think it's your most meaningful deviation and what makes it special? Does it have a story behind it?

My most meaningful deviation would definitely be one of my Anatomy designs. I think these pieces talk to the audience of these gadgets in real life. Its about the stories that you associate individually in these gadgets. One of my own favorites in this series is the one about Steve Jobs: Steve Jobs death / 1976 - 2011.

:bulletyellow: Do you have any insecurities regarding your art?

Yes, all the time. Almost every single time I upload something new i'm a bit exited to see the reactions. I think in this case its only natural given the exposure my art has received. But I think most artists can relate to this. You always wish to better yourself, learn new skills and grow as an artist. And there's always someone that seems better than you, or more experienced. The great thing about this is that you can learn from them.

:bulletyellow: Did art ever helped you to deal with your life problems?

Yes absolutely. It has helped me grow as a person and become who I am today. When I first started out creating my Anatomy Art series I was actually going through a period with severe personal stress. The calm and focus painting gave me, and the progress in these paintings almost worked as meditation at the time.

:bulletyellow: What is the one thing you always wanted to do but never got a chance to?

Someday I really want to travel to Canada and see the great Nature there. Also Seoul in Korea is somewhere I have always wanted to see and experience.

:bulletyellow: A few words for our fellow artists?

I was actually intrigued as to how popular my art became. I had so many request of doing something new. People wanting to buy my art, and obviously spreading it in social medias online and so on. The funny thing is that the message of the art is all about modern technologies and art going hand in hand, so the whole viral thing is just a part of this. I want the audience of my art to see my pictures and then remember the feeling they had when talking in their Smartphone or playing on their Playstation. Taking a photo of your girlfriend. There would be no greater honor for me to see people enjoying it in real life.

All the best from Copenhagen Denmark,
Mads Peitersen.

realigning a dead mind with realityall this time
I've been running from a nothing,
a no one
no one
you existed as I thought you were
and as you really were
now, you have gone from
no thing
no one
an image to fear,
mage to fear
and to pity
no one

i will rest by the river and bloomi have eaten so many cherries i have lost count,
my fingers bundled up with their stems, my teeth aching.
with the fruit flesh still threaded around them, the seeds
look like little organs, little stone hearts:
i eat them all, every one. maybe they will hatch in my stomach
like bitter eggs, and a thousand hundred giant trees will
grow slowly though my bones and my bloodstream, maybe they will
burst up and out through my mouth. i will be a bleeding flowerpot,
a forest floor with shoes, an incubator. i will be the zombie
apocalypse of cherry trees. i will grow my wooden teeth through the roof.
my bad decisions will touch the sky.
