As the title suggests, this news article's goal is to spread the dA love into everyone's heart! You will find here a little bit of everything, from awesome interviews with talented artists, art features, group promotion to random deviants' features. I hope you will find this informative and entertaining!

Interviewed artist: ART-fromthe-HEART :iconart-fromthe-heart:

:bulletyellow: Tell us what defines you as a person.

I'm part nature nut, part OCD, and part goofy nerd. It's an odd combination but my love for nature (animals in particular), art, and obsession with detail is what drives me to make photo-realistic paintings. I love to paint in traditional mediums, to feel the paint, to become it. My dedication to it and my passions drive me forward.

:bulletyellow: How did you find out about deviantART and why did you join the community?

My sister meroe1313 found deviantART in 2008 or so, just looking for an artsy place. I followed her, and having never shown my art online before this was the first place I ever presented my work. I loved seeing and meeting other art and artists and the community felt like home. :)

:bulletyellow: When and how did you discover your passion for art?

I've always loved art, ever since I could hold a pencil. Every spare moment had me doodling on any available surface. All of my immediate family members do a different type of art - pottery, carpentry, architecture, sewing. Art is in the family I guess!

:bulletyellow: What inspires you the most and when do you think your creativity is at its maximum?

Nature, and animals, at their purest in nature. When I can hike the wilderness and see nature for all its hidden wonders, I'm in my own paradise. Though I tend to imagine fantasy as well, nature is always surprising me.

:bulletyellow: What do you think you'd be doing if you hadn't chosen this path?

If art wasn't an option, vet, zoo keeper, or paleontologist was next on the list. Anything animal related or treasure hunting. ;)

:bulletyellow: What do you think it's your most meaningful deviation and what makes it special? Does it have a story behind it?

That's a tough one! Personally, my most meaningful deviation is the painting of my cat Vader. I've painted many cat portraits but Vader was a special cat to me. It was the DA community that helped me try and save his life. I will always be thankful for that.

:bulletyellow: Do you have any insecurities regarding your art?

At times I think about how vivid my imagination is but I don't use it often in my animal and nature based paintings - I guess I'm scared of showing the fantasy part of my quirky mind.

:bulletyellow: Did art ever helped you to deal with your life problems?

Art has been a great coping device in the past. I can paint and be there, where that animal was or bit of nature is, instead of where the shadows of my mind try to drag me. Plus my art has opened up my hermity self to like minded people. I'm more open and willing to tackle the world.

:bulletyellow: What is the one thing you always wanted to do but never got a chance to?

Travel - I'm still young but travel nowadays is harder than it used to be. Someday maybe.

:bulletyellow: A few words for our fellow artists?

Follow your dreams! If you work hard at what you want to do, you will be successful.

:thumb375644120::thumb375645362: The BridgeMy Heart yearns to tell her what she already knows.  And yet I cannot for if I do I may burn the bridge that I have made, spanning the gap between our lives. And yet at the same time there is another who is destroying the bridge.  And with every move I make it seems as if the other takes another cut at the rope with his knife attempting to sever the bond I have made. And all I see are the choices I can make and yet with these choices I see the aftermath of my choice in which I all ways see the same result. The burning of the bridge and the success of the other who wishes me gone.  And yet I stay and fight on for if I don't I fear that she will leave and will herself break the bond that ties us together.  And that is the ultimate defeat, the blow I cannot take and I will not let that happen as long as I live so as to keep that bond there and let the bridge remain for if it falls I will with it and in that pit it is dark and damp, alone and cold.  I will not fall
