:bulletyellow: Tell us what defines you as a person.

There are a lot of things that 'define' a person. Everyone has their own character and personalities. For myself, I suppose, it would be the undying passion I have to bring happiness, art and imagination to all. No matter the challenges. I take them head on and share in the moment. Live life in the now and appreciate it to its fullest.

:bulletyellow: How did you found out about deviantART and why did you join the community?

I found out about deviantART about 10 or so years ago. I signed up with another nickname but forgot the password and it was linked to a dead email account so I re-created this account after a small hiatus. I was first introduced to deviantart by a long time friend of mine Silverlune and my spirit sister ~wolfmoonie. I've always had a passion for art so when I was introduced to DA I was hooked instantly. I've been a loyal "fan" ever sense ;D

:bulletyellow: When and how did you discover your passion for art?

I've always been an art enthusiast. My grandfather was always drawing cartoons and sketching. He even bought my sister(s) and I some art books when we were really young. I studied and used those books, and still do, to this day.

Before the books, however, I always found it hard to put a pen or pencil down. I would doodle all over my homework in elementary, jr high and even high school much to the displeasure of my teacher(s) *heh*. Some enjoyed it though! They loved receiving a daily 'comic' of mine! One teacher in High School even kept a doodle of mine as he was thoroughly convinced I will be famous one day. *grin*

I honestly didn't get serious with my art until about 6 or so years ago. DeviantART has been such a great inspiration to me and continues to be. The community and people here are a constant harbor of inspiration which in turn pushes me forward. This strives me to always improve and continue my passion. Its the best outlet I have! If it wasn't for DeviantART I would've given up on Art a while back.

:bulletyellow: What inspires you the most and when do you think your creativity is at its maximum?

Music, art and nature. A lot of my inspiration comes from within. Usually when I am listening to a particular song it sends me into another 'realm'. A part of my mind comes alive. Its the symphony to my canvas. When I am in nature, especially coniferous forests, do I find I am most at ease. Relaxed. Able to think and breathe. Being calm and allowing my imagination to conjure up thoughts and ideas is what puts the winds to my sails. Some good music, inspiration and a nice place to sit allows me to get lost in imagination and from that I let the paint brush take over. There really is no limit for me! I find beauty in all things and thus sparks my creativity so I guess you could say I am always at my max.

:bulletyellow: What do you think you'd be doing if you hadn't chosen this path?

Who really knows what we would be doing or not doing if we hadn't been tempered by our experiences, passions and loves? I honestly don't know (: I'm very happy where I am here and now.

:bulletyellow: What do you think it's your most meaningful deviation and what makes it special? Does it have a story behind it?

All of my pieces have meaning behind it. Each one drawn for something different. They all harness different emotion and heart. I find that this brings such uniqueness to each one and I like to share that with my viewers. No matter the occasion.

If I was to choose one I think my recent piece Stars Falling, Ancestors Calling. It symbolizes a great change in my life and others. The union of two hearts and souls. Two soulmates who have found one another despite the great distance that separates us all. To set forth and carve ever lasting vows of love and devotion into the sky.

:bulletyellow: Do you have any insecurities regarding your art?

"An artist is his / her own worst critique." I wouldn't consider myself to have insecurities just opportunities to better my art and improve my style.

:bulletyellow: Did art ever helped you to deal with your life problems?

Always. Its a great way to vent current/past emotions, frustrations, laughter, joy and tears. To me this is why I have such a great love and appreciation for Art. It allows the viewer to be brought into another world, another state of thought which allows you to go wherever you want to go and allow whatever piece effect you as it does.

We all have things in our lives that define and temper us. Art, for me, has always been that soft breath that cools and molds any temperamental fire. When I am drawing I let loose everything. Each piece represents some sort of emotion of some kind and I like to share this with everyone. To bring peace. To bring laughter. To bring joy and to bring sadness. This is the power of art. To make you feel.

:bulletyellow: What is the one thing you always wanted to do but never got a chance to?

Fly :dummy:

:bulletyellow: A few words for our fellow artists?

Never ever give up because you feel like you aren't good enough. Art wise or otherwise. Hard work and determination produces the outcome of your work. You can't get to where you want to go by simply jumping into the wind and hoping it will carry you to where you want to be. You have to climb mountains, wade through hard times and good. You must shape yourself as you go along. Learn from your experiences and mistakes. Go beyond your own heights. You will be awestruck by what you find there.

Don't succumb to defeat before you've even picked up the sword.
