I hope you will find this informative and entertaining!

Interviewed artist: Nise-Loftsteinn :iconnise-loftsteinn:

:bulletyellow: Tell us what defines you as a person.

Well that's a difficult and extensive question. I can define myself as a loyal person. Lovely with everyone at first sight. I respect everything of each person and I don't really try to change them. I love to listening to people's worries and good things and if I can and know any tip, give it to them.
I'm an animal lover. I think I cant take more care about a hurt animal than a person. Haha that sounds a bit hard but it's the truth.
I really love people and friends and I'm always giving the best of me to them. I am a person with very extensive graphics memory and imagination.

:bulletyellow: How did you find out about deviantART and why did you join the community?

It was like 5 years ago. My brother has a dA account and was uploading some university stuff and then I saw it. A few months after, I decided to make a dA account so I could share my art with the whole world.
First I wanted to do that and after a few weeks, I was learning lot of things from tutorials and discovering my artistic idols and inspirations. But I was very young and my skills weren't the best.

:bulletyellow: When and how did you discover your passion for art?

Woah. That's an important question. I was really, really young when my father taught me to draw. When I was in the creche the first thing I drew was the titanic boat with the iceberg. Hahah my mom really loved it. I was really really young. I still remember he taught me to draw sharks first. Then dolphins and pegases.
He was my first artistic idol. I really admired him. Of course, with 3 years until 10 art wasn't something I though I could live from it.

:bulletyellow: What inspires you the most and when do you think your creativity is at its maximum?

Animals inspired me the most. Fantasy stuff as well.
Animals are the first thing I loved since I have memory. I "studied" them, like, how they move, faces, expressions, shapes, sizes, types.... everything. I still need to learn more about them. Who know me really well can tell that I can stand perfectly hours and hours staring at one animal, either sleeping, eating or playing. I can not help it haha.
With the issue about my maximum creativity, I don't really know. I think we can have creativity during our whole life, so I don't really know how to answer this part.

:bulletyellow: What do you think you'd be doing if you hadn't chosen this path?

Maybe something related to zoology. Learning everything about animals, help them to breed and get offspring, to live with humans, encouraging people to see that animals are not only different inferior beings who also deserve the same respect that we, or even more.

:bulletyellow: What do you think it's your most meaningful deviation and what makes it special? Does it have a story behind it?

:-- Misericordia --: - This is the deepest picture I have so far. I've been doing lot of emotional pictures since I joined deviantart but I think this is the deepest.
"Growing up in a place when nobody cares about you and also have the courage to hurt you makes fear on any you. You grow up learning that you can not trust anybody and you depend on yourself.
Then wen you need help with something, either a broken member of your body or anything else, you can't trust no one. Even if a friendly and sincere person, with all its good faith wants to help you, you only can run away and hide"

I think that's the message this picture wants to transmit to people.
Yes, it has a story behind.
This is a personal piece inspired by something that happened this Monday. I saw a kitty in my highschool with a broken leg and we couldn't help him because he hid in a small crack in a wall and he was very very scared. I really felt upset and frustrated because I couldn't help that kitty..

:bulletyellow: Do you have any insecurities regarding your art?

Well, we always have some of them. I think I could make each picture slower, taking lot of care about details and go relaxed but I just can't. My pictures aren't that accurate as other artist but I'm really happy they still like to people. I could spend more time about learning to do other things, such as buildings, vehicles and landscapes.

:bulletyellow: Did art ever helped you to deal with your life problems?

Sure! Making personal pieces helps your mind and body to vent, not to surrender under stress.
That's very important. Stress isn't a good thing to anybody and we need to live relaxed.
Also doing this, pictures and drawings, if its personal or just a funny scene, makes your mind fly to another world. The world you are more comfortable to. You're happy and everything can happen in that universe, living with no limits, not as the ones in reality. Living out of the reality isn't good to, so you need to know how to driving while moderately.

:bulletyellow: What is the one thing you always wanted to do but never got a chance to?

I'd definitely love to be surrounded by wolves or some felines I love the most. Not like they will kill or hurt me, like taking care of them, as if I were another member of their pack, another of them. That's sounds a bit weird but I would really love to make it one day. Wolves are my favourite animal because sometimes I identify myself with them and everyone sees me like one sometimes, so I'd love to do that with wolves.

:bulletyellow: A few words for our fellow artists?

Never give up!
Trust me. I saw people who had this gift and wasted it because they thought they weren't so good and that stuff and it's a lie. They were great. Never give up buddies. This world can be hard and maybe you'll never have the level as your idols but it doesn't really matter. Each one has its own style and has to be happy with what they can do.
If you get inspired by a picture [reference] please respect the artist because it's a bit unfair that he/she had to break his/her mind to get the idea and then you came and retrace or copy it. I'm sure your ideas are beautiful so share it with us!

Please make sure to :+favlove: the article to help spread the dA love :dalove:
