The Plasma Bulb

Dude I have to say I can't see anything wrong with this! The colours are just right in my opinion, not too saturated and not too dull either, and the plain black backdrop only helps to bring them out further. Plus it doesn't look as if its been too heavily corrected/edited. Don't get me wrong, I'm not nearly a pro photographer, but this image stood out to me straight away, even as a message thumbnail! I'm giving it 5 stars for everything for the following reasons (I'll keep it short lol):

Vision: You obviously managed to capture what you set out to photograph.

Originality: I genuinely haven't seen this kind of photo before.

Technique: You've taken a well composed shot, and you're skilled in terms of manipulation (where applied).

Impact: As I said above, the picture stands out even as a thumbnail, and the colours are beautiful. Makes me wanna reach in and touch the bulb lol <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="366" title=" (Big Grin)"/>
