Burnt-out light bulb

I like the height of this over the other version. The broken glass is a really good touch to help convey the burnt out and damaged idea.

It stands out, the bulb, so much, that I question whether or not it's something that you personally handled and is a mix of photography and photo shop magic that you did yourself, or stock that you acquired and then messed with.

But I don't care. The end result is so breath taking. The black against the mostly white bulb and smoke feels art deco to me.

The color of the dying flame on the filament gives a bit of life to an otherwise 'dead' object. It also injects just enough colour into the composition.

There is nothing about this that I don't like.
