Greetings everyone! It has been a long while since I've done anything on DeviantART. Allow me to explain myself. I am currently in my senior year of high school and I have been working hard on working to achieve my graduation goal. However, it is now Thanksgiving break and I'm free for a week! I will be posting more deviantations soon and I hope you all enjoy them! Bye bye, for now!
OH WAIT! before I go, I have some great news! My Let's play channel has finally launched (I was also busy with that)! It's name is "RetroTechComms" and I have started a new Minecraft series called "Minecrafty Friends!" on it!

Here's a link to our pilot video. Our launch episode:
And here's a link to the "Minecrafty Friends!" playlist:

"Minecrafty Friends!' Description:
"RetroTechComms first play-through ever. Jacob and Jonathan "Jrider" are thrown into the update that changed the world: Minecraft 1.7.2... How will they fare in the end? Click to find out. It's a story of love, trust, tragedy, and nonsensical humor!"

Greetings everyone. I have an update for all of you! I have started a new project that I think is pretty ambitious. I am photoshopping a certain favorite deviantation of mine and putting the foreground on a nice background made to look like everyone's favorite zone! Why is this so ambitious? Well, I have very little experience in photoshop. So this could end up looking like a masterpiece or a piece of crap! It depends on how well I can utilize what very little I know about the program. Expect to see that in a couple weeks.
I also am working on a little logo for my near ready to launch commentary channel: Robotic Commentaries. I'm making it an Adobe Illustrator which I have experience in using. Expect to see that soon.
Next, I have the chain ready for the "Green Hill Wrecking Ball Prop" for my Dr. Eggman Cosplay Costume. It's made out of a lightweight wood that weighs no more than one pound. Relax people, I'm not making a REAL wrecking ball.
And lastly, I have a Cosplay Prop finished and ready for unveiling! It shall be unveiled THIS WEEK! I won't spoil what it is but, what I will say is that it will make a lot of "Legend of Zelda" fans happy!
Well that is all. Farewell, my robotic subjects and take care!

Greetings, my robotic subjects.
For all six of you whom are here, I wish to tell you that I have many new projects planned for the next year! They mainly are to go with my Dr. Eggman cosplay, but there are others. One of these non-Eggman projects is a light up, sound emitting replica of Samus Aran's arm canon from the Metroid Prime Trilogy. For some of you who may not know, I am a huge fan of the Metroid series and want something to own from the series. I wanted something different than a t-shirt, so the object that popped into my mind was her arm canon. I eventually want to make a replica of her entire Varia Suit, but that can wait for another time...
Another non-Eggman project I have planned is a Sakuya Izayoi cosplay costume for my friend. My friend is a huge fan of the Touhou Bullet-hell series and his favorite character is Sakuya. Hell, he takes it a little too far sometimes; so much so that I have a liability to label him as obsessed with the series. Enough of that however, my point is that he want to "Crossplay" as Sakuya for next year's MegaCon. Who am I to reject the idea? So I am helping him with his costume. What we plan to do for this project is make him a 1:1 look alike with Sakuya, so yes I do have to hake for him fake breasts. This will be interesting. The funny part is that Sakuya is dressed as a maid, so hilarity will ensue and many "you missed a spot" jokes will be made!!
Next, for my Eggman related cosplay projects. The big one is that I am going to be remaking the main part of the costume; the shirt. This time however, I am going to be smart and NOT buy a pre-made shirt. That's right, I am making it ALL by my own hands. What I did before was I bought an already made, long sleeve red shirt and as a result, it turned out to be a bitch-and-a-half to make presentable. Another thing I am doing is that I am going to put a zipper on the front of the shirt so that it is like a jacket. This will make it a lot easier to put on and with what I have planned, I will be able to put pockets on the inside of it for convenient storage of my business cards!
Finally I have for you my final project. Does anyone remember the first boss in Sonic the Hedgehog's history? It was in Green Hill Zone and was brought back in Sonic and Knuckles, Sonic Advance, and Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1.… Dr. Robotnik is in his Egg-o-matic machine as it floats above the ground. As Sonic approaches, Dr. Robotnik grins maniacally as he opens the lower half of the egg-o-matic thus releasing his classic plan. A giant wrecking ball on a sturdy chain. That is my prop project for Eggman. A small, light weight replica of the wrecking ball which I can carry around. You see, what happened was that when I went to MegaCon with my friends, I realized that I was the only one without a prop for my costume. needless to say, I have remedied that and the wrecking ball is going to be the result. Anticipate that in the future.
I am not good at closures, so this is Jacob "Eggman" Rousseau signing out and I wish out all the best. Have a good night and take care.

Greeting everyone of the Internet,

I, Jacob "Eggman" Rousseau, went to Megacon 2013 yesterday (03/16/2013) and I am blown away. The shops were great and the talent was exceedingly plentiful. I met so many fellow DeviantARTists and so many cosplayers that my mind was in a haze. I bought till I was broke and I must have been stopped for photos and autographs (As Dr. Eggman of course) around FIFTY times! I was even video interviewed as Eggman by "Anorak Ai." The best part however was being the ONLY Eggman cosplay at the event; It truly made me a giddy nerd. I found so many great, nay, FANTASTIC cosplayers whom were very willing to take pictures with me and I have so much to share with you all. Even nostalgia came rushing back yesterday for I met a Danny Phantom cosplay and a Eustace Bagge (Courage the Cowardly Dog Character) Cosplay!!! I was unfortunately unable to enter the cosplay contest but hey, there is always next year! Right...? Anyway, according to my wallet, it's hungry. I bought only three things at the event, but they were great things to be bought...

I bought:
~ A "Pumpkinhead Keyblade"
~ A Holographic 3D "Portal 2" Poster
And my favorite thing I bought
~ A beautiful print of "Ib and Garry" by illustrator/freelance artist "Ty Richards"

I truly had a wonderful time at MegaCon with my friends and I deeply wish to go to MegaCon 2014!!!
I will post the best pictures I took to my DeviantART account for all your viewing enjoyment.
"Get a load of THIS!"
I decided on what costume to make for Halloween and various "cons" next year!!! Okay, that's not entirely true... I've come multiple choices and I have run into a slight decision making problem. I can't decide on which costume to make. You all (all 4 of you) have seen what I can do with costume making, so it is POLL TIME!!!
Should I make:
~ "Count Bleck" from 'Super Paper Mario'
~ "Meta-Knight" from the 'Kirby Series'
~ "Geno" from 'Super Mario RPG Legend of the Seven Stars'?
Please cast your vote in the comment section below, for I cannot decide. Grazie!
