Hello everyone! I don't believe many of you have ever heard from me, but I've been an admin her for a long time, so this is about as close as I'll be getting to a formal introduction. (:Submissions tend to be in stacks of 15-25
, so it can already take a while to go through them! So having to stop and address issues with every other one really holds up the process.
The rules that are frequently broken seem to be the same rules over and over again:
submissions don't meet our size requirements, they should be 800px in width or height.
submissions don't have a link back to the original lines. Having a link makes it easier for people to find and color the lines.
submissions use lines that are not already part of our gallery. All colored works should already have the blank version in our gallery (or should be submitted with the colored piece.)
Just try to be aware!
I've added some folders and amended the rules!
I've been on the fence about accepting Pay To Use lines, but I've decided to go ahead and start accepting them.
In correlation with this decision, I've created two folders! A "Pay To Use Lines" folder and a "Colored P2U lines" folder. It's pretty self explanatory what goes into them, but note that this will include lines that require you to pay for access to PSD files of lineart, larger files, etc.. Essentially, if any cost is associated with the use of the lineart, it'll be going in the P2U folders.
I'll be moving some that have already been submitted to the preexisting folders, but I'd like to apologize for the submissions I've turned away on the bases of them being Pay To Use.
Sorry for the trouble or confusion this rule may have caused, but hopefully this amendment will clear things up!
That's all for now, but by all means if you have any questions or concerns:
Comment on this journal or on the groups page
Note the group, or you can note me personally!
Thank you all for your continued support of the group edit:
I added some featured comments to the front page that will (hopefully) provide some organization so that everyone can find what they're looking for! This organization may change later if I come up with an alternative, but in the meantime, I hope it helps!
