I'm a Psychologist, but I've always liked to sketch and doodle. Just after graduating and seeing the frustrating side of psychology as a job, I decided to give myself a break. In this time, I've retaken the beautiful habitof reading, and this whole adventure started because I read The Wheel of Time. I've been a fan of Tolkien and similar fantasy-type of art forever, but The Wheeel of time was the right thing in the right time in my life. I devoured the 14 (+1) books in no time, and I found myself frustrated because I saw everything I read so vividly in my head, but there was so little art that translated appropiately what I was desperately trying to impress on the real world, that I decided to give my sketches and doodles a chance, and learn to Illustrate. So my goal is eventually to have enough experience in form, construction, color, textures, value so that I can confidently illustrate what those characters look like in my mind. To have a window into their most impressive moments, to offer people around the world my way of seeing things,, just as some other artists artwork influenced how I see them.
For now, I'd like to learn to Illustrate, and then try to do The Wheel of Time stuff, and later Robin Hobb's Realm of the Elderlings stuff.
