Just wanted to put out a quick update to let everyone know I'm still alive.
I have been working at Lowe's full time as a cashier. Nothing fancy, but it's money.
At least Black Friday will be a non-issue.
Nothing else really happening in my world. Going back to CA in February for a week or so to see family and get away from the New England winter a little.
My husband and I went on vacation back in August to Bermuda. Tons of great pictures to share! I hope I can post a few soon! :)
So much for that. So here's an update.
I have left the x-ray tech program. I hated clinical. SO much. I hated being in the hospital. I tried SO hard to make it work and to like it. I wasn't doing well. I had a bad feeling towards the end of fall semester that it wasn't going to get better. I was extremely unhappy. Then came spring semester. I tried. I really did. It just got worse with every day. I dreaded going in and once I was there I only wanted to leave. The stress was so bad that it was beginning to make me physically sick every day. I ended up in the ER for dehydration one day. I missed too many days of clinical. I finally said enough
So. It's now September. So much has happened since my last journal way back in February.
We bought a house! It's awesome and I love it! We also got a new car (mostly my husband got a new car)
I quit Best Buy -- so wonderful not going there anymore! I will only miss my coworkers and the discount.
I start x-ray clinical in a week! SO nervous about it - mostly because I don't know a lot about patient care and doing things around real patients! I've only ever done things in the lab with my classmates.
I will try to post things now and again, but I will most likely be pretty busy until the end of the semester in December.
Honestly I d
So. I haven't written here in what seems like forever. I'm a bad journal person I guess. I uploaded a few new-ish pictures today... that's progress!
I am still alive. Just super busy with work and school and all that adult stuff. I have about a year and a half left of school. If all goes well, I will graduate in August 2015 with an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology.
Work is ... well ... let's just say I haven't burned it down yet.
2014 is going to be an exciting year! My husband and I are planning on buying a house later in the year! I can't wait to get away from condo living. I'm ready to NOT share walls with anyone but myself,
Welcome to my page!
Due to work and school, I am unable to update my journal on here as often as I probably should. I am always on Facebook - add me if you want to really know what is going on. :)
Please have a look around, send me a message if you have a question. I am on here every day even though it doesn't seem like it. I submit new pictures only occasionally these days. I wish I could do more, but I don't have the time I used to have to go out and take pictures and edit them on Photoshop.
