Lemon Verbena Tea

Lemon Verbena is an herbal tea. The lemon verbena herb (also known as Lemon Beebush, how cute!!) is native to Argentina, Peru, Brazil, Paraguay, and some other South American countries, according to Wikipedia. It seems to me that the tea is definitely more popular in Europe, especially in France, where it is known as "verveine". Even so, I simply could not resist doing a tea illo after seeing the amazingly colorful, beautiful traditional dress of Peru.

And those CUTE llamas!! If you make some Google searches, you will find adorable pictures of colorfully-dressed children standing by fluffy llamas with bright tassel earrings and necklaces. I'm really sorry I can't provide more references, but my computer just crashed this weekend with a virus, and I lost a lot of files (almost lost this file!!!).

I tried lemon verbena tea and found it had a really strong lemongrass flavor. Not my favorite, but definitely really bright and summery, probably tasty with some sweet fruit juice. It's supposed to be loaded with antioxidants, so it can't hurt to try it!
