I like the colouring of the iris, it's beautifully done.. the shattered glass effect is shocking (I mean, in a good way, lol) - you really convey the idea of something violent raging away behind the eyeballs - I feel like this when I get a headache - though I know with you it's more likely an identity thing? (looks up bicameralism...) ah ok. I may be confusing it with schizophrenia
Great art, though unsettling.

you might be thinking of multiple personality disorder (or Dissociative Identity Disorder as its now called in the DSM). I did have a form of it but now we're all good hehe. But yes, I get really intense migraines and neck pain sometimes and it feels like that little bastard is putting up boards all around the place. I've actually planned a follow up to this one of a Little Girl cuddling the teddy from behind the eye like its a bedroom and through the shattered glass of the iris, having me looking in a mirror. Mirrors have been messing with me lately something chronic.

Yes, quite possibly.. I am not so familiar with the DSM as I should be (I had to look up what it was). So DID stands for Dissociative Identity Disorder, and there's me thinking it was Damsels In Distress. Someone recently faved some of my work and put it in a folder called "WIP"; I was about to protest that they were finished drawings, not Works In Progress, when I realized that it probably stood for Women In Peril (or Prison, possibly).
I hope you will do the follow-up picture. As for mirrors, I read this in Borges' "Tlon, Uqbar, Orbis Tertius": From the remote depths of the corridor, the mirror spied on us. We discovered (such a discovery is inevitable in the late hours of the night) that mirrors have something monstrous about them.. Judging by the starring role mirrors seem to play in many horror films recently, I would say Borges has a point. And yes I did notice that the photo you sent had been mirror-reversed

I like the Damsels in Distress version better haha. Its so odd, the mirror thing, then what happened on friday, with the mirrors. Now I'm like actually all good again looking at mirrors. Its strange though, the idea of mirrors in horror. I wonder if people who have distorted self perception have seen themselves with a mirrored image flipped to see if they recognise themselves still.

hehe, might be up on my soundcloud. If you can't find it let me know, its called Looking Glass. I'll send you a copy
yeah I tend to do a lot of whatever it is I'm doing at the time xD erotomania is like how it sounds if you have it and you start out creeping through a bush at a festival all the way up to going and talking to the person you are fixated on. Should check out Cliff Diving. Its quite a funny one
