And this rainbow rose is the birthday gift for myself. Isn't she spectacular? I am growing her in my garden and she presented me with various outstanding blossoms this year. Her original color is bright red but I gave the picture a special color treatment as I have previously done it before with other pictures. I must say I am very pleased with the job I have done on this one!!! I hope you like it, too.

First off, i think the picture it self is really stunning, the blending of the colours is very nice as the all work well together. I also find interesting the way the background is composed of the only colour a rainbow doesn't have making the rose in itself stand out that much more and adding a touch of mysticism to the picture. The dusty glow around the flower gives the picture it's final touch making ethereal and magical. On the whole the picture is very well done and nicely presented however the water mark is a bit hard to distinguish at fist making it look like the rose has a strange water droplet or something on it.

I have no clue how to describe this in words. Simply Amazing? is that it? I really can't think of the best word that goes for this deviation. Beautiful? Creative? I just can't decide!
The colors together are stunning. They make you go, "WOW, I'm favoriting this!"

If i had the money i would surely buy this picture as a poster to hang up in my room!
Its all the colors of the rainbow, too. Rainbows are wonderful.

I just want to say thanks for making this beautiful piece of artwork. It is just wonderful. I am possibly going to favorite your entire gallery if it is as pretty as this!

This is so beautiful! The colors are really stunning, and the picture was really well taken. I especially like how none of the colors clashed with each other; they all look really nice together. I also like how the rose looks a little wet, and the slight glow behind it.

The background is also really pretty; it gives it a dark yet still mysterious feeling, and really gives off a nature-ish vibe. In all, it's really pretty, and gives me a sense of calming nature. I could probably stare at it all day, if I had the time to! This is truly a very impressive work of art~

Firstly, the rose itself is stunning. I can see that you worked hard on tending your rose.

Secondly, about the colours. I like how the colours work together in harmony. However, I was confused at first with your faint watermark at the top of the deviation. It does not show out too much, so I thought that there was some unusual texture on the flower.

I like how you contrasted the rose from the background very well. I think that next time you could enlarge the glow around the rose, as quite a large amount of light hits the rose.

I had to knock off points for originality as I have seen similar works before. Also, vision got a slightly lower mark as I do not fully understand the meaning you are trying to convey with this piece of artwork.

In all, this is a well done piece and I hope to see more artwork from you!

The colour use is flawless: no blurs onto other petals. The droplets on the upper petals highlight and enhance the impact of this lovely piece of art. The centering of the rose appeals and it is clear that this is the work of a practised hand. The balance of the colour palette within the rose, with the matching of the 'hot' and 'cool' colours works well, and the duller colouring of the background highlights the magnificence of the rose. The only fault is that rainbow roses are comparitively within deviantart, so perhaps the use of a different flower would be more individual. However overall a brilliant piece of art.

What I love most about this piece is how smooth and natural the transition of colors is and how fun and colorful the piece is overall. It really pops out of the subtle background and catches the eye. The droplets, too, is a nice addition as it adds to the realism to the rose.

The only critique I have is that because of how unsaturated the background is, it seems as if the rose is floating without a stem at first glance. Perhaps, a slightly stronger background would enhance the piece.

Altogether, however, I think it's lovely. While it has been done before, you pull it off very well.

(i'm sorry. i suck at critiques)
The piece catches my eye easily, and keeps my attention, as the colors are very bright. The editing is really nice; Even after adding the colors, the rose still looks realistic. The colors in the rose blend together nicely, and the whole picture gives a feeling of a dream, or fantasy. The piece has brightened my day. I feel happier and a little looser, and it is as if it gives a little hope. It brings joy into a gloomy day, and color into a black and white future.
Keep up the good work!

It brings the color of the rose itself. The realism to this is amazing as the details go along. It has a movie poster feel that it would be something a movie artist would do. As the diffrent tones of color goes from red to blue and to yellow, it brings some happiness to the picture some what. It is vivd and it pops out at you.

The bright side of the colors brings along more vividness and eye popping moments of course the violtet-blue brings it's night time tones, the reds to orange some sun rise tones and the greens with the Earth...

It's a beauty

I've always been a fan of your wonderful photos and I'm glad to finally be able to critique one of them.

What I really love about this photo is that the editing you did gives it a feeling that it's both a high quality painting and a photograph at the same time. Having the background out of focus while the rose is does a great job of making the viewer notice it, and most certainly get impacted by it (which is why I gave 5 stars for the Impact).

I gave a lower score for originality and vision because I've seen rainbow flowers done several times before, but you do it at a much higher quality.

I have to say that the editing was done really well. Even though the colors are out of this world, it looks really believable. I also liked how you can see every single detail of the rose, from the rose's texture to the dew drops.

Overall, you are awesome at making your rainbow photos.

This is quite lovely. I've seen rainbow roses before, but never quite so well-executed. First and foremost, I like the fact that you weren't afraid to leave this on its stem. Nice touch.

I love the way the petals sort of wrap different colors around each other, and how the dew actually reflects the color of the petal each drop is on. The colors still go from warm-spectrum to cool-spectrum, but they don't blend so much as they jump. Flawlessly blended color might look good in some instances, but on multicolored roses, it's unrealistic. Props for doing it this way instead.

Admittedly, something bothers me - the top of the rose looks a bit metallic (is it just me?) It sort of puts a kink in the overall organic feel of the picture.

Anyway, overall, I like this a lot. It's worth a look and, in my opinion, a fave.

The first thing that caught my eye was the beautiful colors on the petals! I liked how they drew you in to the center of the flower. The background was nice, since the blurry look kind of added a touch to the piece. Also, it looked like a sort of glow was coming out of the flower, which was a great addition. Everything kind of blended in, which really adds to the 'flow' of the piece. Overall, this is one of the most colorful deviations I've seen. Definitely worth submitting as the next Daily Deviation. The first thought that came to my head was "wow!". The colors of the flower compliment eachother very well. The background is blurred very nicely. The coloring of the background is also amazing. I don't fave just any picture. I only fave great quality photos that really catch my eye. This photo is probably one of the best rose photos I have seen. I also love the water droplets! Even the font you chose for "Rainbow Dream Rose" goes so well with this picture. You did an amazing job!

The original image must have been magnificent and what you have now is just plain gorgeous. Both the way you have used the background and colour help bring attention right to the image. The blurred background helps eliminate distractions and the darkness behind the bright colours directly draw the viewers attention straight to the subject. The glow around the flower helps convey the feeling of someone in a dream-like state.

Though beautiful I have to say that, sadly, this idea is not all that original. Also, I think that you should of outlined the stem a bit more. If you look at the picture as a whole, the colours of the flower are SO vibrant that it does not look realistic. Almost like the stem belongs to some other flower and that you photoshopped the flower in. I also think you should of put the brighter colours (red, orange, yellow) at the top of the flower, not the bottom. The text at the bottom of the picture already takes attention away from the flower. When you put the bright colours near the bright text people start looking at the text longer because their eyes start to wander.

Besides those few things, I think this photo is lovely! Your technique is, dare I say, almost flawless and your vision is quite good too (though I am not sure what your message/theme was). The impact it had on me, personally, was... Well, lets just say it left a good size dent. Any way, brilliant job!

To begin with, the colors of this rose are just stunning. What makes them pop and sparkle the most is the fact that you have such an indistinct background but which only enhancing the beauty of the rose itself. The particular angle of the rose is also very well done.
But I would have to say that my favorite thing about this rose is the lighting and the water on the petals. Those two elements help enhance the beauty and also magical feel that the rose possesses. The background also adds to that magical, dream-like feel which the entire composition possesses.
I always thoroughly enjoy and look forward to your work, but I have to say that this by far remains my favorite of your works.
Continue the amazing work and using that beautiful talent

This piece looks really great. The colors are bright, the font of the text is great, the picture is dramatic. The dew drops on the rose itself are really great and add a special touch to it. One of the problems I have with this picture though is that it is quite cliche. Other than that, it looks quite amazing. The light hits it just right and it being dead center adds to the dramatic effect. So, all in all it's really great and well executed and had great dramatic points but it is kind of cliche. It's a really great picture!

The color change is flawless. There are no sharp, obviously cut off edges. The original picture itself is good, but the manipulation transcends just being good. This manipulation, however, has been done several times before, thereby lowering the originality rating. Other than that, this is obviously the work of a professional. The glowing edges around the flower was a nice touch, and so was enhancing the focal point by blurring out the background. I don't really see the point in putting a watermark directly on top of the image though, when you have the same information at the bottom of the page. I am a fan of the text you used though. The vision rating is low because, although it is a very nice picture, there isn't really an overall message or theme here. Not that that's a bad thing, art doesn't need to have a concept. It didn't have much of an impact on me other than the fact of how well done it is. Overall, this image is very professional, and even appeals to those who aren't. Keep up the good work.

This is a very beautiful image. I like the centered placement of the rose as it draws the eye straight to its colourful petals. I love the way it gives off this soft glow around the flower, a very magical look.
The blurred backgrowd also draws focus to the flower and is a nice touch.
Ive seen many rainbow roses on deviantART, so you lose just a bit for originality there, but your technique looks very good.

Three words: THIS. IS. SPARTA BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!
The colors are so bright and vivid and they really contrast with the background. Like it's perpous (bad spelling) is to color the world.
The water droplets make the rose seem...NEWER. More...FRESH. Like it's being welcomed into the new world. Get what I'm saying?

There are a couple things though. I think the words "Rainbow Dream Rose" made it seem more funny than beautiful and the font made it seen like a live action Disney movie.
Also, I think there should have been more warm colors than cold or at least make it half and half. But other than that, it's perfect.

Please continue to make more.

I have to start off by saying that I LOVE how your gallery is very vibrant and colorful! and this addition is no different!

Vision - This piece is very beautiful and it really catches peoples interest! The water drops add a mystical feel and creates dimension to the petals making them pop out. Another thing that adds to the colorful part of the rose is defiantly the dull background and the soft glow around the rose

Originality - So honestly, I've seen a lot of rainbow colored roses (not in real life lol) a lot of artists and photographers have done something with it. So I can't say the rainbow colored rose is original but what you DID with it and how you portrayed it is whats very original.

Technique - I believe the technique you used her is very nice and consistent. The one thing I would say though after looking more closely would be that around the edge of the rose might be a little too hard. other than that it is very nicely done

Impact - well I think it’s safe to say that this picture definitely leaves a great impact! If only your rainbow colored roses actually existed! I would have a garden *-*
In conclusion, I really like this piece. Very breath taking with how realistic and beautiful it is

I hope this was a good critique! ^^" it was my first one anyway! continue with the good work!
