Description

Isn't she scary and impressive? This is an Araneus Diadematus, European Garden Spider (Cross Spider), who lives outside at my bedroom window. Here she catched a big moth who flew against the web in front of the glass pane and was dazed one second later by the spider. A lot of little larvae came out of the body of the moth. Whilst the huntress had her big lunch I had a lot of time to take many pictures of her.

Another amazing shot and here the skills is not only in the shot but the timing - a spiders hunt is not the most common occurrence and the shot with its focus is amazing. I am just wondering, is the dark/white background as it was or did you edit that... seems like it is at the window as you said but I can't grasp the angle as much.
