Okay, so I said back in late June that I would do a Sonic X review, as it would align with the 30th anniversary of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. That has very much passed, but that was just a few months ago, and it’s still 2021, so let’s do so while we can. It’s been years since I last watched Sonic X, a show the fandom mostly considers one of the worst of all Sonic cartoons, and I’m going to see if I agree with that or not. But before we get into that, here’s a few things I want to note beforehand; I will be watching the original Japanese dub for the show. This is the original content and I want to stick to it because the English dub by 4Kids is notorious for editing out texts and scenes, along with changing names to things and storylines. Plus, the dialogue in the 4Kids dub is far too cheesy for my tastes. Don’t get me wrong, I love the 4Kids voice actors, but the direction the show went with 4Kids wasn’t it.
