Hello, folks! I wanted to give everyone a little progress update. Most are aware I put a lot of time and effort into my stories... So I want to inform everyone where I'm at. At the moment, Splatoon2: Inkopolis Heroes and Splatoon2: Octo Expansion are being uploaded regularly. But due to the recent poll voting, there will be two pages on their respective upload dates, so that's a special bonus. As a result, that means both stories would be fully published a few days before Splatoon 3 is released (around September 5, 2022). The only exception is if I do another poll regarding Octo Expansion's upload date; since Inkopolis Heroes is a bit shorter.
So now, I should tell you my other plans...
I'll come forward about my Splatoon Story timeline. From between Splatoon 1 and Splatoon 2, I have a whopping 16 stories (1 additional one haven't decided to upload here on DeviantArt). Out of the 6 unposted ones, 2 of them are collaborations that are involved in the timeline. For the time being, those collaboration stories are the ones I'm not planning to work on anytime soon until my partner and I finalize everything. The next two unposted ones is another collaboration and an extra comic. For those, I plan to be digitally drawing them and posting them here with the appropriate watermark.
And for the last two unposted stories? Well. These two stories are going to be my final ones for the Splatoon 1-2 timeline. And I'll explain each of them...
Splatoon 2: Waves of Tide
This story is the second-to-last story. It is yet another collab. However, the script for it is already done; it's a matter of making the comic panels. This story is divided into three parts. The first part is already completed and will be uploaded the first week of August. The other parts I have yet to start on. And yes, due to the longivity of this story, it will be a gmod comic and NOT a digital comic. A lot of thought and work has been put into this comic, and might be one of the most emotional and impactful stories I've done so far. I hope to upload parts 1 and 2 before August ends, and part 3 to be finished after the first half of September.
Splatoon 2: The Final
The title is pretty self-explanatory. It's going to be a story that will finalize the entire storyline. This will not be a collab and will be worked on by my own terms. It's still under development. This defintitely won't be done before Splatoon 3 releases; I hope to begin uploading this story by the second half of September. I still don't know if this will be in a gmod or digital format, but it might be gmod depending on if there's enough resources for it.
You can all be assured that this won't be the end of my Splatoon Stories. But know that I will be taking a (either long or short) break from the storymaking once ALL stories are finished (or at least the two stories I mentioned). Once I come back from the break, I will resume making some stories (also depending on if the models for Splatoon 3 content are made at this time). A few I have in mind is how all of the characters migrate to the Splatlands and Splatoon 3: Splatsville Heroes; although Splatsville Heroes I might not touch for a while. X). Time for another small update... I've been thinking about doing commission work. To be more specific, I want to try and do Source Filmmaker commissions (digital commissions will HEAVILY depend on how things personally go for me). If I were to do commissions, it would be a good way to get cash on the side. And yes, this means I probably won't do point commissions. For watchers whom knew me on my old account, you might recalled I tried doing this before I had to get rid of my account and stop with the commission stuff altogether. This time, I want to do things a bit differently (and hopefully permenantly.) However, this also depends on your opinion too. I'll make a special poll upload regarding this much later when I feel ready to do commission work. Chances are, I might be ready within next week or a few weeks after.
