The Hero of Time by lillilotus The Hero of Time by lillilotus
If anyone's been listening to me ramble recently, they'll know that I started playing 'The Legend of Zelda; Ocarina of Time' about 2 months ago. Yesterday I completed it (after much screaming, fear, procrastinating in dungeons and general messing around), and I have to say that I really enjoyed it! I've got alot of opinions on it and it'd be fun to do a full review of it, but it would easily span over 2000 words so it'd be too long for anyone to read ^^; One thing I enjoyed was the ability to go back and forth in time (and the ability to turn from Adult Link to Chibi Link) It was sometimes nice to leave the redead-infested future and go back to being a Chibi; forever running around and breaking pots! :D

Anyways, there's a couple of my favourite elements from the game in this picture;

1) Ocarina songs - the rainbow background. Whenever you play a particular (non-warp), the background changes colour and looks all pretty and stuff! So hence the rainbowy-ness and the bars of music. However, the background doesn't change when you play a warp song, but there is a trail of airy spots when you warp (of various colours depending on which song you played). You can see these around the 6 medallions. I tried to make them coloured like they are in the game, but it just looked really silly, so I just left them white (I would often just stop playing the game just to try play as many tumes as I could remember; just for the Hell of it ^^; )
2) Medallions and Spiritual stones - since you collect the stones as a child, Chibi Link can have those, and the medallions are collected as an adult, so Adult Link can have those!
3) Ocarina and Master sword - Chibi Link uses the stones and the Ocarina to open the door of time, so I thought I'd draw him playing the Ocarina, leading to him gaining the Master Sword as an Adult (I know he technically gets it as a kid, but he never uses it at the age; he just picks it up and jumps forward 7 years!)

This file is ridiculously huge and my netbook was lagging pretty much through all the background stages! DX But ti's done now; so I'm happy! *will hopefully never open this file again*

:XD: Indeed; and despite all belief of me not being able to make it through, especially after being scared by that boulder, I have completed it!

.......question, what happens after you've beat it?
