APH - Blood In The Water by lillilotus APH - Blood In The Water by lillilotus
I was drawing an A3 picture that I'd been planning for a while and, I don't know, I didn't feel motivated to draw this planned picture anymore (I'll get back to it at some point though). Then on the way home from Kendel (Yorkshire Dales; gotta love 'em!) and listening to my music, and I suddenly came up with the idea to draw this! Mainly because I love Germania and the Austrian Succession version of Prussia and haven't drawn either of them in ages.

So I dropped everything to draw and paint this one and, I ahve to say, I much prefer the way this one looks as opposed to the half-finished planned one. I think I'm better at drawing spontaniously and when I feel like it, rather than planning ahead for ages to the point of when I have to do it, I want to move on.

ANyways, back to the picture, there's a couple of things in here that don't make much sense at first. Like the spirit of Germania watching over Prussia, and the fact that Prussia is using Germania's sword (almost to remember him by). The blood that Prussia's stood in doesn't make much sense either, but I was thinking that Prussia is pretty much blood-thirsty in the series, and I think he was the most destructive out of all 6 countries in the war at the time (think of it as like 'the destruction in the peace'; the blood in the water) I thought I'd ruined it by putting the blood in there, because it looked so random. But it looks ok now! ^_^

...This description makes no sense so I'll just leave you with the picture....yeah...
