Over the last few months, I got really into Pokemon Y, but now I'm at a point in time where I am reading a math book for fun, and thinking, "Okay, what else am I going to do in my spare time?"
I only really have one day off per week now (Sundays), so my production outside of work will drop significantly from what it was a few months ago. I had Christmas eve, Christmas day, New Years eve, and New Years day off, but I was sick (twice) for a few weeks prior to those holidays and that made me not want to do anything at all, so I didn't.
My boyfriend just helped me get my computer to stop running so hot and hard, so I should be able to do whatever I want on it now. Not sure what I want to do, though! I'm still trying to save money to move, and should really be focusing more on packing, but I haven't gotten a confirmation on when the new apartment will be available, so that's all kind of on hold for a bit. Even if I was focusing more on packing (for a February move), I still have to give my current place a 30-day written notice that I will be moving out, so I can't just LEAVE before that is done, and things still need to be arranged outside of that, for a storage unit.
Speaking of storage units, we were looking at prices around our neighborhood, and got into an accident while doing that one Friday while I was on a lunch break. The car was totaled, but we were both okay, physically, despite slight twinges in the shoulders, back, and neck, and I, personally, was a bit dizzy for about a week afterward.
So, while I haven't been doing anything particularly productive outside of work, I have been a little bit busy with things in my life. Not that I'm trying to make excuses, that was mostly just laziness and typical me just going POOF now and then. I hope to get back into the swing of things before too much longer. If nothing else, playing Minecraft more, and hopefully being able to get one video out on my channel each week. Hopefully. It really does depend, though, because when things for the move start to roll, that MAY need to be dropped a bit so that I can take my one day off per week to do major packing. The last time I moved, I think I packed everything in a week or two. That was super stressful, and I pretty much did it all alone. I remember the night before the movers came to pick up my things, I was up like, all night, packing everything up. Literally. ALL NIGHT. I did not sleep because it was the last few hours I had to pack up things, and I was only 3/4 done. All of my last-minute things needed to be packed, from the kitchen, etc. Not fun. But, I got it done. Thankfully I didn't have to work while I was worrying about that, so all I needed to do was worry about packing, and then go sleep at my friends house, took a train to go see my mom for a week, then flew out to Houston. But, this time I have work, and not just 20-hours a week, either, which would make things more manageable. I'm probably going to have to take a few days off of work when the time comes to move, so that I can just get it all done while my boyfriend has time (and he has a car, which I don't have, and need), which kind of sucks, but will also make things a bit easier.
All of that being said, I hope those of you who actually try to talk to me aren't offended and don't think that I'm just a complete flake who can't be counted on. Things have been happening and will probably continue to happen until like, March. Just hang tight until then, and I should become much more available after that.
Currently, my work schedule is set to:
Monday 5pm-10pm, Tuesday 5pm-10pm, Wednesday 10am-3pm, Thursday* 10am-3pm, 5pm-10pm, Friday* 12pm-3pm, 5pm-10pm, Saturday 5pm-10pm
The days with * next to them are my volume days, where basically I go home at 8-ish if it isn't too busy, but will stay all night if it does get busy. Any day except for Tuesday are days I could potentially be sent home early, as well. This is all central time in the USA, and I typically make myself available Monday nights, Wednesday afternoons, Friday nights, Saturday nights, and Sunday all day. This could potentially change, seeing as some of our workers have been leaving and we are hiring a new one, but we will see how things go. If it changes, I'll edit this to show my schedule.
