schoolism - assignment 9

My final lesson from my class in Schoolism, Advanced Lighting with Sam Nielson. Lesson 9 consisted in a less specific topic, it dealt more with human emotions, composition, effects to enhance the emotion from a painting, etc.

Sam uploaded a file with the lineart of this little cartoony house, and again, we could mess it up the way we wanted to. I wanted to do something really colorful and sweet this time, and that’s what I did, quite literally . I had such a blast coming up with ideas for the structure of the house and little details here and there that helped to believe that this is actually another world, a surreal dreamy world. I had some troubles with composition but I liked the overall final painting. One last time, this is the version I submitted, not the one Sam painted on with his feedback.
