** CONTEST ** DESIGN A CONVENTION MASCOT'S COSTUME

SacAnime, a Sacramento based anime convention needs talented artists to design new costumes for the Summer convention season!

Our mascots need new costumes for the Summer convention season, but haven't a thing to wear. That's where you come in. Stretch those design muscles, and come up with new costumes for our male and female mascot duo. It's like Project Runway... but not.

The finalists will be chosen by SacAnime attendees this January, and the costume designs that win will be turned into actual costumes by Myself and .
Your design, if chosen, may also be on banners, badges, guide books, shirts, etc.

RULES</u>

1.</u> The art you submit must be an original design created by you. No tracing or digitally modifying an existing design.

2.</u> Only one submission per person. A single submission consists of:
          * One (1) fully colored original art piece depicting the mascots in the costumes you designed.
          * Two fully colored character sheets (one per mascot) detailing the costumes from multiple angles.

3.</u> Artwork can be created digitally or using traditional media. Digital art entries must be entered with a scan of the original sketch.
   
4.</u> All entries must be scanned or created at a minimum size of 8" x 10" at 300 ppi resolution.
   
5.</u> You may change the hair style as you see fit, but please keep it the same colors.
   
6.</u> Please include your first and last name in with your entry. If you do not want your real full name used publicly, please provide us with a nickname as well.

**NOTE** It's for the summer show, but that does not mean they need to wear things like bathing suits, etc. It is freestyle, can even be fantasy related. Just remember they will be created and worn in real life so please put that into consideration. Details wise, it is up to you, but nothing too detailed (thousands of beads, etc) You can change the hair style and give accessories if you like. Have fun with this and we are excited to see what you come up with!
